 Projects I have undertaken:  

Provided the services of a People and Culture Director during strategy and business plan development to ensure that the people strategy fully supported the company’s business strategy. 
Development of hybrid working policies and procedures which aimed to harness the potential benefits for the business, whilst considering the legislative framework and the long-term health and wellbeing of employees. 
Liaison with the employer, consultation with employees and the coordination of the design team and contractors to deliver projects which met the company’s expectations. 
Conducting employee surveys and supporting the management team to achieve a workplace where the team work together to deliver on the company’s plans and business strategy. 
Supporting organisations to minimise the effects of long-term absence. This involved working with employees to overcome the barriers to them returning to work. This included working with other specialists including physiotherapists and counsellors. 
Developing employee handbooks, policies, and procedures in liaison with management and in consultation with employees which set employees up to succeed whilst enabling the company to effectively dealing with matters when things go wrong. 
Coordination of all stakeholders including the management team, accident investigators, engineers, and other specialists to ensure that companies were in a position to defend against litigation and prosecutions. 
Coaching and mentoring managers and specialists at all levels within the organisation to realise their full potential and to build positive and enduring professional and personal relationships. 
Working with parties who are involved in conflict within organisations to come together to resolve their differences, removing the risk of losing good people and costly court cases. 
Representing and supporting management teams in their dealings with Trade Unions, Health & Safety Inspectors, Fire Officers, and other Regulators/ State Bodies. 
Advising and supporting management teams to prepare and implement effective health & safety management systems which prevent injuries and ill health and improve employee relations.
